Garmin GolfLogix Review

Consumer Report
GolfLogix GPS Garmin GolfLogix Review Garmin GolfLogix GPSbills itself as the most precise, durable and user-friendly golf GPS on the market. These goals show in the design, with the fancy color graphics of some units being forsaken for clarity and readability.

  • Large number displays that are easy to read for all ages and eye-visions
  • Personalized name on main screens for security and anti-theft
  • Displays in yards or meters
  • Includes multi-use belt or bag clip
  • GolfLogix Course Manager software with USB drivers
  • weighs 5.3 ounces with batteries and measures 1.2 inches thin
  • 100 percent waterproof

Unit holds up to 20 courses, and is very light weight. This is not a poser’s GPS unit meaning it isn’t long on style, but it being made by Garmin, it may in fact be the most accurate, and really it’s the yardages that really matter, right?

GolfLogix Reviews, Overview and User Feedback

Rating:8 / 10

Actual User Feedback:

“I had one of the early models made by SkyCaddie, and this device is far better. It’s easier to use, holds 20 downloaded courses (rather than 10), finds the course you are at (as opposed to picking from a list), is waterproof (compared to water resistant), and costs far less to get a course map membership. Golflogix vs Skycaddie goes to Golflogix”

“I went to the store to purchase the 2.5 Sky Caddie, but I realized I couldn’t read the information on the screen without wearing my reading glasses!

I am very satisfied with the Garmin Golf Logix. It was easy to download the software; and easy to save and load golf courses. The display is very easy to read at 6 feet away. Its lightweight and waterproof.

I am a 10-12 handicap, 2 weeks ago I shot my first sub-par round, and my first ever eagle the following weekend!

I just purchased a GolfLogix. My deciding factor on choosing between all the models out there was the fact that GolfLogix had every course I had ever played in my life available.

Sonocaddie is missing about 40% of the courses I’ve played. Skycaddie is only missing 10%, iGolf around 10% and GolfLogix seemed to have them all, as well as tons of reports of how fast they are in adding courses made me go that direction.

I just got my GL last night. Setup could not have been easier. They had all the courses that I play within my general area, even my dad’s out in upstate NY. I dl’d 27 so far, put 20 on the unit.
