There were 10 reviews found online for the Sonocaddie portable GPS receiver (V300) and they were overwhelmingly positive.

Limitations:

1. Software, which is mandatory for GPS units, is not available for MAC computers.
2. Not a “big name” brand like Bushnell, Nikon, Callaway or Garmin.

Some Sonocaddie V300 owners where especially delighted that the when they compared ongoing fees for Sonocaddie vs Skycaddie, they found the one-time or free course subscriptions for the Sonocaddie to be very refreshing.
