bushnell medalist Bushnell Medalist PinSeeker Rangefinder Review
The Bushnell Medalistlaser rangefinder with Pinseeker technology is priced as an advanced entry level rangefinder, that comes with some premium features.

PinSeeker – Allows easy targeting of the flag while avoiding the possibility of capturing background targets. When more that one object is targeted the closer will be read.

Rain target mode – compensates for precipitation

Scan – continuously updated yardage readings while you scan the rangefinder.

Legal for use in tournament play

Overall a decent rangefinder for the price. Limitation included only a 4 times (top models are 7x) optical scope and user reviews complained that the case was poorly constructed.

Bushnell Medalist with PinSeeker® Reviews, Feedback & Overview

Rating: 8.8 / 10

“I found the range finder to be very, very accurate. After a week at my main course, and playing three other difficult golf courses, I play with a new “Tiger” like confidence.”

Actual Bushnell Medalist review on Amazon.com

“I purchased the Bushnell Medalist about a month ago after my sky caddie SG4 died.

I enjoy using the Medalist a lot more. I no longer haver to wait for the signal to lock in and I can take it to any driving range and get accurate measurements.

My brother has the Bushnell 1500 slope edition and there really isn’t much difference except I paid $299 and he paid $449 icon smile Bushnell Medalist PinSeeker Rangefinder Review

Our Research on Bushnell Medalist w. PinSeeker® Suggests:

This is a budget rangefinder that happens to include the premium PinSeeker technology, which comes on Bushnell’s higher priced models.

On the plus side for this rangefinder are that it is tournament legal, smaller and less expensive than Bushnell’s other rangefinders.

On the negative side is the 4x magnification of the scope, compared to 7x for more advanced models. This could make targeting pins and hazards more difficult from long range.

Verdict:

The Bushnell Medalist best feature is it’s budget price and Pinseeker flag targeting. If you have an steady hand and good quality eyes, this laser rangefinder may be a bargain.
