I am very satisfied with my Callaway idTECH rangefinder. It has helped be shave off 3 to 4 strokes off my score. It’s a bit expensive but I got it as a gift from my wife. If you have any golf enthusiast in the family, then this makes a great gift.

I had no trouble picking up the flagstick from any distance. It also works well in calculating distance even when there are hazards and other obstacles.

You would need to do a bit of math with calculating the distance as the LCD displays distance with the additional or subtracted height difference. So you need to add or subtract to get the true shot distance. Otherwise is great.

In some of the more advanced models from other brands, you don’t need to add or subtract yardage to get accurate distance. They display the accurate yardage on their screens with a press of a button.
